This video is a piece of work that was created in response to some of the answers and comments from a survey that we carried out to learn more about lived experiences of staff who have a disability, or are carers and also intersectional staff, who are working for our hospitals. Based on these answers and comments, we believed we needed to raise more awareness of hidden disabilities and some of the issues that staff had faced. We wanted to show staff that the survey wasn’t just an empty, number-counting effort for some report but shows that we are actioning projects to help improve the working lives of our disabled members of staff.
